| Message | hi, from chicago, jacques. i had to drop a note just to say how much i enjoy your music and covet your touch, by the way, that hendricks thing is pretty inspirational too. the real reason i stopped by is to say.... thanks for designing a delightful, no nonsense, beautifully understated, hand pleasing, heart throbbing, instrument of endless sound. anyway... i hope i've have made myself cear on how much i love this guitar. there is nothing i don't like about her. it's the acoustic, dreams are made of. i'm thrilled that i am luckey enough to own one. it plays like a "david" but sounds like a "goliath". the open tunners are classic. the bare ebony board is sleek and sexy. the fact that you did'nt cut a hole in body to install the electronics, shows that you respect the fine tonewood that gives this siren her tempting voice. and, nobody does a better job of amplification than fishman. so thanks again for letting martin build a guitar designed with the name and all the insight of a true master of the acoustic. i've only owned this treasure for a few months, but its become a friend that jumps in my lap as soon as i get home and does'nt leave untill i'm late for every appointment i have. for me, the hardest part of trying to become a better player is putting in the time. this guitar makes it easy to put down the remote, and pick up the possibilities...... thanks for #42... eric jaeger. |
