| Message | This mail is in reponse to Mirza Feisal Beig's mail dated 2009.09.2009. I saw your mail by coincidence today. I remember you very well. If I remember correctly, you came from Pune ( earlier Poona) and got admitted to St. John's. I can also remember that you had mentioned the name of K. Ragunath who moved over to your 'Poona school' from our school in 1954. I think this Ragunath susequently became India's foreign secretary, though I am not 100% sure whether it is the same Ragunath. A common friend whom you might remember is Shamsuddin Sheik. Praveena Somaya, Vijayalakshmi etc. must have have been your classmates among others. I am sure you would be remembering Ram and Vimla Bhavnani, Bhagawan Malkani, Ernstine Lobo, Nissim Daniel, Solomon Moses and others. Incidently I think you passed out your SSC in 1956 since I passed out in 1957 and you were one year senior to me. Our teachers were Mr. Karunakaran, Ms Aloo Shroff, Mr. Pathak, Mr. Patankar, Mr. Vaidya, Ms Peggy Soares. As far I know most of them are no more except Ms. Aloo Shroff and Mr. Vaidya. I also remember that you were in the air wing of NCC when you were in St. Xaviers college. I passed out from Ruia college and susequently did my engineering studies in Germany. I am in touch with Darayas Vevaina and Shamsuddin. I picked up contact with them again in 2002 after a break of more than 45 years (!).
