| Message | IT IS AMAZING!! I have been searching the net for years trying to verify a story my grandfather told me when I was young. Grandpa George used to work at the Slingerland Drum Co. in Chicago. My pappy lived in Lombard, IL. and traveled daily to Chicago to work. He always told us about a young boy who showed up on the doorstep of work. Pappy told us he knew that boy had rythym and would hit a skin someday! | Message | I was moved moved upon seeing Aloysius Hannie's bio. I idolized him as a child. His carpet-like style was an inspiration which I tried but could not copy. I had to settle for the classical route and have not been entirely happy since. |
