has to be

$phrase['return_to'] = "Zurück zu";


Otherwise it would be " sign 'pagex' " and it has to be " return to 'pagex' "
->return = Zurück

has to be

$phrase['characters_left'] = "Zeichen übrig ";


This would be a lot better, especially because it needs less space.
