As many of you have noticed, guestbook spamming has become a considerable problem lately. Because of this a few new measures has been necessary:
the verification image (CAPTCHA) has been altered to be slightly more difficult for computers to read
the posting of links has been disabled (this may become an option later depending on your feedback)
the most common words used by spammers have been disabled
the possibility of viewing a "Random Guestbook" has been removed from the front page of ultraguest.comThese changes should benefit most of you. However, if you feel that any of these changes are not for the better I would appreciate if you could post a quick note in this forum.
Also, if your guestbook still gets a lot of spam, please open a support ticket so that I can take a closer lock:
