I was wondering if the guestbook supports Japanese Kanji Characters as I have noticed that on the comments page preview the message is correct however when it appears on the homepage there are strange letters that apear. Is there something I can do to ammend this?

Hi Chris,
The guestbook system is supposed to be UTF-8 compliant (which basically means that it supports all languages/characters), but I am aware of an issue with certain Chinese characters. The same may be true for Japanese Kaji characters. This problem can be fixed by a database upgrade (I have been told) but I don't know for sure when the upgrade will take place.
