Hello!

Here is a question I got by e-mail:

Question:

I am wondering if I could use this guestbook on my multiple web pages. Does the book only link to one site and thats it? I currently have a angelfire web, a hometown, and a geocities that I would appreciate to all have the same exact guestbook. I can easier read the posts that way for my sites. I just need to know this before I think of sighning up.

Answer:
By default the guestbook links back to the website address that you used when signing up. However, you can customize your guestbook by logging in to the members area (from www.ultraguest.com (http://www.ultraguest.com/)) and remove the link back to your website. Just check the box "No" next to the option "Display link back to website". No links will be displayed in you guestbook.

If you wish to display links back to all of your webpages, simply custimize your guestbook header (also from the members area) and create links back to all of your websites.

You could also try to create a javascript link that simply tells the browser to go to the previously visisted webpage:

<A HREF="java_script_:history.go(-1)">Return to my homepage</A>

The code above will not work if the visitor has been browsing more than one page in your guestbook, however, since it tells the browser to go to the previous webpage (-1).

I hope this helps and that you will give UltraGuest a try!

Best wishes,
