Last night I found two spam entries in my guestbook (at indeterminacy.blogspot.com). A google search of the names shows that they've been around. I don't know if these were mass entries. If they tried to hack the guestbooks, as was done last year, it seems not to have worked for them (fortunately). Just thought I'd let you know in case there's anything you can do about blocking these in the future. I'll leave the entries up in case you need to see them in the guestbook context:

I hope my input will help you to make the system better.

These are the spam entries:

Thank you very much for reporting this! :)

As your google search pointed out, this spammer has visited all of the largest guestbook systems. (The system has not been hacked in any way, just spammed. The system was not hacked last year either, but a severe bug was discovered that let a single user accidentially alter guestbooks.)

Almost 400 guestbooks at UltraGuest.com were spammed over the past 24 hours. Even though all gustbooks have spam protection features enabled, this spammer was more difficult to dected for a number of reasons including use of different IP addresses for each entry.

I have removed these spam-messages from the system.
