Shamrock was a character. I came home and found that little boy sitting on the back stoop. Couldn’t resist the pic opportunity. Glad I did. One of my favorites of him. I let Rhea do the raisin’ as this was to be her dog. I did the bare minimum helping out. My loss. It wasn’t until we were in the new house that I full appreciated who and what he was. I was giving belly rubs to him when I caught the “stare”. After looking into those eyes I was completely mesmerized by what was behind them. It was that moment that I realized what a truly remarkable breed this was. And in the same time frame he responded to the bear. Copper and Raven were going nuts over a bear that wandered onto the property. Bear paid no mind to both dogs. That was until shamrock perked up and wanted out. When he showed on scene he let out barks that quite frankly I did not know existed. When I say nature got quiet, I mean that. Everything stopped. The bear, all 600+ pounds of him, stopped, looked, and turned and walked away. Wasn’t having any of that. I was so proud of him…and a little terrified. These are a couple of memories I choose to remember that big, lovable, awesome goofball.
ReportTo My Beautiful Boy,
This little corner of the world is yours, Shamrock. I created it because I never wanted you to be forgotten. You were far too extraordinary a soul for that.

I hope this guestbook fills with memories, smiles, stories, and love. Most of all, I hope that through these pages, a little more of you will continue to live in the hearts of others.
Thank you for five and a half extraordinary years, my beautiful boy. I would choose you again, a thousand times over.
You will always be my Shamrock.
