| Message | George I am glad you elaborated on this important issue. There should be a reasonable discussion on what the river is - what it is used for - naturally and what damage may be caused. Even if one can see their way to use it for hydro power - then it becomes an issue of benefits and why and how such a mighty and beautiful resource proposed to be used. |

| Message | Excellent points. I have a house in Central NL but I spend my summer and fall in my ancestral homeland near Cartwright, Labrador. As an aboriginal person with property in Labrador I also feel we should have a say in how our lands, rivers are effected by those not from here. Thank you. |

| Message | Hi Sue, Although not born in Newfoundland, I have spent the majority of my life up to this point living there and call Corner Brook my hometown. I'm now living in my birthplace....Truro, NS, but follow closely what goes on in NL, especially the politics! While at MUN back in 1967, I got to meet Josephine Smallwood, Yes, Joey's granddaughter......but didn't/won't hold this against her! Because of the Churchill Falls fiasco over the giving away of the power rights, I truly believe that the Muskrat Falls "deal" will only prove to be more detrimental to the people of NL because it will be a humougous debt that will go on for centuries! I could rant somemore, but will leave you with this thought/question......"Why is there so much suspicion around the Muskrat Falls Deal"? Personally, I am of the opinion that the whole thing is based on Man's Greed!!!!! Really like reading your blog, Kathleen  |

| Message | You're very appreciated Sue! You are one of seemingly very few Canadians with enough guts to criticise governments for their lousy governance and detrimental actions. You're probably aware that they're only the puppets of the real 'powers that be' so I'd advise that you take great care and watch your back because they'll be trying to 'get you'. It took them twelve years to get me, and for all intents and purposes my life is now over. They're now trying to 'prove' me mentally ill, and if they succeed I lose my property and my children lose their only inheritance while I spend the rest of my life on forced injections. Welcome to the new third world. |
