MessageYes, my last name truly is Peebles!

I've known for a long time that there was a place across the Atlantic named Peebles, and I knew there was a golf course there, but I had never really looked into the place until today!

Peebles looks to be a fascinating place, and if I ever visit TOPCOP will be on the top of the list to visit!

Your long lost kin-

Jonathan Peebles

MessageI just want to mention that because of your site, I have managed to get in touch with my brother in Peebles; we lost touch over 20 years ago when I moved to Australia, and you have been instrumental in connecting us!
I received an email from him and his wife today, and I am thrilled!
You have made my day, and I will be forever indebted to you.
Thank you again - and good luck with the site.

MessageI love the new site, the layout is much improved, it's easy to navigate and well set out.

I went through all the articles written about the church and it's long history, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It brought back many childhood memories for me, I remember running up and down the outside steps with my brothers and getting into trouble for it!
Thank you for this site, I hope you will include more of the Peebles area into it eventually.

MessageI was born in Peebles in 1946 and left when I was 10 for England, then emigrated to Australia in 1989. However, my heart still belongs to Peebles and the land of my birth; I still feel a very strong connection, and as New Year approaches, it has been on my mind.
A guid New Year to my kinfolk back there - wish I could be with you all for Auld Year's Nicht!
