MessaggioMy great-great grandfather, Leopoldo Frattasio (Maddaloni) married Filomena Domenica Maiocco (Fallo) in 1869. They had daughter Luisetta and son Francesco. Those two siblings went their own way, married, and produced Lucia Barra (Villa Santa Maria) and Vincenzo Frattasio, who married as first cousins to produce my father, Vincent Frattasio. I am proud of my Fallo heritage, which includes the popular surnames of relatives Maiocco as well as a connection to the Castracane family - amongst others. I hope to visit someday, but fear as more time passes my Fallo lineage fades away just as quickly.

MessaggioVery interesting site. My grandparents were from Fallo. Anna(Di Sciullo) & Nicola Mariano My mother Mary and My aunt Gemma were also born there. I visited the town back in 2001 and hope go back again someday

MessaggioMy grandparents are from Fallo. Mariano DiMariano and Rosa DiVito both born in 1866. I believe his father's name was Vincenzo and ??? wife was Solidea. Still researching through ancestry.

MessaggioAlthough my family Di Lello/ Di Sciullo is from Villa S. Maria, I have reason to believe that there is historical influence from Fallo in past generations. I have visited and met with Fallesi who bear a strong resemblance to my family.
