| Message | Hi Ankit, I hope you are in a peaceful place. I received the Ankit Chhibber award last year but did not know your story well until now. The scholarship in your honor has allowed me to study and contribute to the community as much as I can without being held back by financial burdens, I am filled with gratitude. Hearing your story and witnessing your legacy is inspiring, many people live a long life and do not achieve what you have in the short time that you were given. I am graduating soon, and I dedicate that in part to your memory. Even after your passing, you continue to make a positive impact. I hope I can give back as much as you did and more, and that people will remember me some day as they did you- someone selfless who was always willing to help others. | Message | Sometimes, when I'm feeling particularly dour, I'll surf the memorials section of DMOZ...it helps remind me how precious and temporary life is. I find pages dedicated to people who have neglected them... Often for years at a time. It makes me wonder what happened to the person's memories, and what their life was for? I can't explain how it felt to find this page... And to read that Ankit went to Ryerson -- like me -- and was a mere three years older. So many odd coincidences. It's beautiful that you still keep his memory alive. Thank you. |

| Message | I don't know you, never met you before, and I'm not sure how I ended up here today, but it must mean something if coincidentally I land on this page only to realize it's your anniversary today. I am supposed to be looking at catering companies online for an event (!), and .. here I am. So I thought to leave you a message to acknowledge the coincidence. I pray you are at peace as you watch over your loved ones.
