If I'm not mistaken, you guys arrived after dark. I remember you two eating out of the same pot. | Message | I loved the article in the carroll county times and I had to check out the website/blog- I grew up off the Appalachian Trail- Old Stonehouse Rd- on the North Side of Carlisle- my dad used to greet hikers and feed them sometimes as they were offered to rest in our back yard- Good stuff and I will pass along to fellow Dons! | Message | Jack and Chris, Wow! I just read the article in the Carroll County Times. Kudos to you both for taking on such a challenge and seeing it through in grand fashion! My husband and I have, in delusions of grandeur, talked of the day we would set out to take on the great AT. We have done portions, day trips, etc and the dream is still there. Now that our children are grown we find ourselves contemplating more adventurous endeavors, and this is still one of them!
