| Message | It's great for me to see that New Norway Centennial Anniversirarys are being celebrated this way. My great great grandparents Ole and Eli Mikkelsen Olstad were the original founders of New Norway when they arrived with their grown up sons and daugther's way back in the 1890'2 after having spent a few years in North Dakota. I am very proud of this heritage and so are all the Norwegian descendants of Ole and Eli. There were also 4 sons and daughters of Ole and Eli's son Mikkel and his wife Tomine who went to New Norway in 1903. Their descendants all good Americans! |

| Message | I did not make it to the party. My folks (Roy & Doris) & sister Lori were there. Lived in NN from 1950-1964.(except for a 2 yr stint in Alliance.) Have been back several times just to see all the old haunts & take pics. |

(Daughter of Eldon and Diana Olstad, granddaughter of Oscar and Annie, Great grand daughter of Lars and Gunnar, Great, Great grand daughter of Ole and Eli, and cousin to many in New Norway! | Message | Happy Anniversary New Norway! Sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I could be there but it would be a rather long weekend trip from Zambia, where I live and work. Daughter of Lloyd & Beatrice Johnson. Sister of Dyllis Johnson/Walters. Grew up one mile west of New Norway under the red roof. Lots of great memories of Elementary and Junior High years at New Norway School. Great times too at Highland Park Evangelical Church. Greetings to all my friends! |
