MessageI have been harboring my comment since Dec 7 Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. My father, and I, were expecting Dec 7 to be marked with honor. Much to our surprise and dismay there was no mention of it in Truman Hall! No posting. Nothing. I was appalled and disappointed that the day went unnoticed. It upset my Father deeply. I thought I would mention it now in hopes that you could draw attention to this oversite and perhaps bring it to the powers that be so it wont happen again this year. There are historic military dates that should be given at the very least honorable mention if not a modest ceremony. A tribute should be made for those who gave their lives on those fateful days. Others should be given the chance to stand beside those who lived through it and declare, "We have not forgotten!"

MessageI love your Blurb. My Dad lives there and I am up in Spokane, Washington so its nice to feel connected and see whats happening in Dads world! I love the pictures too Miles, I would love to see more of the heart of the home though (you know, the people). Dads always talking about his friends and I love to see thier faces too! I've been there twice and it is breath taking at times. Dad's B-day is this week so say happy birthweek (it's like a b-day but longer) to James Sousa (he is the one who always smiles!) thanks for letting me blurb. Judy

MessageI am so glad I found the Blurb. My 89 yr old father, Veteran of Coast Guard WWII, will soon be a resident and this site gave me such insite to the campus. I feel much better knowing what to expect. I feel more confident and comfortable learning about the many ammenities and services that will be available to him. I will be a frequent visitor to the Blurb from now on. Keep up the outstanding presentation. Thank you so much for this!

MessageThank you. This is a great idea ! The whole Blurb, (fine job), the Menu, and THIS Comment section. Thanks !

So, while I can REALLY understand why they do not include the ALTERNATE meals (whatever they may be) when they hand out the weekly meal schedules, since they don't know what they'll be, I would so very greatful if, before the meals, you could include in THIS menu the alternate meal for each meal. Thank you, very much for considering this.

MessageMiles, Great website, I have tried to email you a couple times but no response. I don't know if you are getting them or not. A section dealing with on campus clubs would be realy nice. I have started a photography club. We meet every Thu. at 1PM. Next Thu. we have a guest speaker from the Calistoga Photography club joining us. Please contact me (email or phone) if you are interested.
