MessageHi, My great great aunt is Mary E Compton, buried in Sugar Ridge Cemetery. I would like a photo of her tombstone. Her husband was Elias, but I don't know where he was buried...I think they had lived in Leipsic...their son was called Minor...
ANY info on this family in ANY form is greatly appreciated!!! (Mary lived 1846-1930).

MessageJust wanted to tell you what a great idea this is to put this online for faimilies to view. I visited this cemetery a few years ago. My great grandfather and grandmother are buried there. My records indicate that Lucinda (wife of Sylvester Jeffrey) died Oct. 24, 1903 and Adeline Jeffrey died Feb. 13,1882. I have copies of their death certificates and marriage license. Just thought you might like to know. I'm looking for more info. on the Jane Truby family (Jane was the mother of Adeline Truby). Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you,
Elaine Hutchinson

MessageThank you for the info on the Ottawa River Cemetery. My descendants were the Guffey's, and my family has lived in Rimer since before the Civil War. My family the Myers, Beamonds, and Deffenbaugh's are all buried there, and my Mother Marilyn (Myers)Herrick was buried there in March 2002. Please update more pictures and tombstones if possible. I live on the east coast, and am not able to get there very often. The last time I was there was in 2003. Thank you so much!!

MessageGreat Site! I have visited the Belmore East Cemetery and Sugar Ridge Cemetery looking for various relatives.

Currently looking for a Rebecca Ann (Kitch) Bishop who died 12 Apr 1902 in Putnam County, but the Probate Court has no record. Anyone have any information on her?

Thanks,
George

Messagecathy,
What a dumb thing they did! Tearing peoples tombstones down and fusing them ALL together to make a shrine! How people EVER to find the burial spots for their relatives? They will NEVER have closure for their families! I hope NO OTHER parish has any ideas like this one did!
P.S. Tell the church office-----------IT WAS A DUMB THING THEY DID!!!!!!!!!
