| Message | I am from Richmond Virginia and I was visiting my family in Dexter. I couldn't sleep so I got up from bed in the wee hours of the morning to check my email. As I was sitting in the dining room I noticed the April 2009 copy of "Rural Missouri" on the table. I browsed through it and noticed the story of your young son. What an inspiration! It made me cry and yet it made me smile too. I visited your website and thoroughly enjoyed viewing it and reading about your extraordinary son. Your son was an amazing person and was put here to do God's work. Your son, even at his young age, was a messenger of God. What a great story and thanks for working on his church! | Message | We came across this site after looking at the Shoal Creek Animal Lodge site. I first read about Ralph and Deb and then discovered this beautiful story behind Mackie's church. As I read it aloud to my husband we were both moved to tears. What a wonderful soul this child has. We send you strength and hope to visit this church one day where we will thank Mackie for his gift. |
