MessageWe're really going to miss you Lux.

You, Ivy, and the band put on the greatest live show (Diamond Ballroom, OKC on April 26, 2003) we have EVER witnessed.

Your music has been a big part of the soundtrack to our lives.

Ivy, our hearts go out to you.

Sincerely,
Tom and Nikki

MessageI'm terribly affected by sudden disapearance of my teenage idol Lux Interior. Growing up in the 80's in francophone Quebec in eastern Canada, The Cramps and the distinctive sound of Lux's voice were like a happy meal from the underworld. I wanted to play and feel the real r'n'r thing just like The Cramps did. Will be sadly missed.

MessageLux lit up our lives. He won my heart and mind in "Tear It Up" from "Urgh" as he deep throated his mic and somehow miraculously kept his pants from revealing all. My little brother especially became a life long fan. We loved all the music and the wild videos and were truly blessed to enjoy the Cramps at Brisbane's Roxy on the Flame Job tour. Our sympathies to Poison Ivy and all their close friends - including Phillipa Berry. Lux can never be replaced, only celebrated and his memory cherished. Lux lived and loved in the best of times, and that's what he truly deserved.

MessageRIP, man. So sad to lose you. I was a skinny kid flipping thru albums at the Musical Maze in the summer of '77, I think it was, when you overheard me telling my pal 'I love the Velvet Underground.' You sold me the Modern Lovers album and we used to chat as I frequented the store, and tipped me to a $2/hr opening they had working the ticket machine -- a job I managed to hold for TWO WEEKS! Bryan Gregory worked there too. We never met again, but I've had countless kicks at Cramps concerts, from Cramps records and watching Cramps videos since then. An inspiration and a hero.

MessageIt sucks to find out about LUX"s departure. The Cramps have always been one of my favorite bands. You've been playing through my stereo since I was a young kid and will continue to have regular rotation. Our hearts go out to all of Lux's friends and family, for today we've lost a true musical icon.
