| Message | Saw your link on Kiijii Peterborough. I, too, have cancer, diagnosed in March 2006. Mine is particularly rare - a blood cancer similar to leukemia - but it's called Multiple Myeloma. Also, no cure - just treatments. I am looking into starting a group in Lindsay much like Hearth Place in Oshawa (www.hearthplace.org) for learning coping mechanisms, hair loss and wigs, makeup, food suggestions, etc, but a little closer to home. It's too hard (and expensive) to travel out of town for that. If you are interested, please Email me. |

| Message | Hello! Just stumbled on your blog. I too am a breast cancer survivor and blogging has helped me cope. Just had a PET/CT scan to check for anything new...loved your word "Scanxiety" as that is what I am living until Thursday when I see my oncologist.
