MessageI had heard that your mom was suffering from dementia. It truly is a loss to the quilting world - she has an amazing talent & is a gifted teacher. I know many other quilters that have taken classes from her & as I have passed the word around, you can see how truly saddened people are when they hear the news. I have all of her books & use them frequently - they are a great resource! I hope she is comfortable, at the very least.

I live in Danville - does she enjoy having visitors? I'd be happy to visit her from time to time, if she is seeing visitors.

MessageHi to your family, I was and still so shocked by the way things have turned out for Kathy. I took a class from her three years ago at Empty Spools. She then took home one of my quilts and did her magic on it. It has won prizes as a result of the work she and I did.
I am not sure ebay is the best way to sell her work. Be sure to put minimum bid on the Quilts..
The books and other things I think she must have will be worth something too. Most likely more than you think. I wonder if you put he thinks on this web sight for sale if you wouldn't get more money for her care.
Good Luck,
Loretta

MessageMy heart is breaking for your family, Ken. I lost my Mom to dementia 4 years ago. It was a rough road, as you are discovering. But, if we think it's hard for us to watch the deterioration, just imagine how hard it is for Kathy. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. Love to Kathy, a woman who has touched so many lives through her love of quilting. May God Bless you & her on this journey.
