| Message | I have only just learnt about your dear mum yesterday. I met her very briefly at a quilt seminar in Bristol organised by Chris Porter. I am very saddened to hear the news. She was an amazing quilter and has been a source of inspiration to many people around the world. You must be very proud of her. |

| Message | Great Lady! I took a couple of classes from her in the 90's in Jackson Ca. I was hopeless, she asked me to please not take her classes anymore, I made her look bad! She was a great artist and person, so sorry to hear of her illness. |
