MessageKathy
I am really sorry about your health. I tried to
contact you for several months and then called
Diana to find out how you were. I really miss your beautiful quilting. If I can find out where
you are, I will try to get over to visit you if you are accepting visitors. I send my love and
prayers to be with you. Rosa Mae

MessageI first met Kathy in the early 80,s. She was a guest speaker at our guild. I was a pretty new quilter and enjoyed her talk. I took several of her classes and she did some quilting for me. Even though I have not seen Kathy for many years I see her work on the quilts in various quilt shows. She will be greatly missed and I wish you and your family my deepest regrets.

MessageI am a professional long arm quilter from Bend OR. I started my business in 2003. The very first book recommended to me was Kathy's __Show me how to Machine Quilt. I still have the Merry Christmas Table Runner hanging in my quilt room. She realy inspired my style and filled me with creativity. I am very moved at hearing of her state . Please know that her past was so very full and inspiring to me and my friends who I led to her beautiful books.
Sincerely,
Tracy Mertes
