MessageEnjoying your viewpoints very much. Knowledge is power and it's amazing how many people object to that. ;-)

MessageI am on my way to spend three months in the Yucatan in order to improve my abilities in Spanish which are almost non-existent at this point, in order to perhaps secure an ESL job for minimum wages in some university, somewhere in Mexico. I enjoy reading your stories, likely understandable as I, too, am one of the crowd growing grayer. I am a writer, photographer, sometimes musician and philosopher married to a woman of the earth whom I somehow convinced to travel with me through the past forty years. Thanks for being visible.

MessageYou can make me laugh or cry out loud - this alarms the pets as I live alone and they appear to feel responsible. Sometimes I wonder why people with Internet access assume their life is interesting, your description of life here south of the border IS spot on - Mexico - it's not for everybody! Mil gracias.

MessageJust a quick thank you for many mornings of great insights. Mexico is only 4 1/2 days by motorcycle from Vancouver but you bring it to me every day with my morning coffee.
