That has been my dream: build a little ranchito and live in Mexico-Morelia. But career -- School Teacher -- and lifestyle have made it very difficult for me to achieve my dream. Nonetheless, the dream is still alive, and I'm hoping that some day I too will be able to accomplish it and do what you have been able to do for the last 10 years. And you were very kind to me when I went through a meltdown 3.5 yrs ago on selling a house in E. TN. My hubby & I are still living in Alabama -- but the working life is running out -- he's retiring in two weeks and who knows what lies ahead . . . LIFE, I hope! Please keep writing more to keep us up in the cold days, and bring us more warmth of your heart. Your stories steer my dreams and give me more points to appreciate life and retirement years. Your blog gives a unique look at Mexican retirement, with it ups and downs: I am trying to model some of my back yard outdoors with settings similar to your Patio. I really liked how you positioned your Alamo wall, to keep your yard private and nice looking. Your house and backyard photos are greatly appreciated too: a picture is worth a thousand words.
