MessageMerry Christmas, Tee Don, my daughter(Cristal Vasquez) gave
me one of your excellent Rubboards (#1890) for Christmas.  I
heard of your dad building the first one for the Chenier
brothers and that you are carrying on the tradition.    This
was a fantastic gift of a great instrument.  Thank you for
building this treasure.  Best Wishes, Dennis

MessageHello TeeDon;     I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for my new pro model rubboard.  In a world where quality is a rarity these days, it is refreshing to receive a product so well made, with such attention to detail.  I live in South Dakota where good Zydeco bands are extremely rare, and I hope to change that.  I have been a drummer / percussionist for most of my life, and it is a pleasure to add this fine product to my "bag of tricks".  I will highly recommend your products to all my friends and    Charles                     Sturgis, South Dakota

MessageDon,Happy New Year. I wanted to share you how much my son has enjoyed his rubboard.  Novice at best but working on transferring his time behind drums. His family including my two year old grandson also took turns at Christmas with great pleasure.  When my son's large group of friends visited for New Year's in New Orleans they all had their shot at it with great pleasure and it lead them out to see a Zydeco band to witness proficient use of the instrument.

MessageI enjoy scratching mine and when my wife an I go out i take mine along with me in case i hear music that i could play alone with, when we go on vacation to PX AZ. it will go with US,i will start listening to cajun or zydeco at a friends house out comes my rubboard then out comes spoons or what ever we can come up with, when iam not driving my big truck there is a band that plays nothing but 50's /60's that will let me play with them and it sounds good, Matilda sounds good with a rubboard in it I'm still learning but, I will not be at peeble beach, my scratching better than my golfing
