MessageA very good web site and memorial to those that took a stand for the protection of their families, community, and State. One correction about William Cicero Stargel's first wife, Amanda Mote, and that is she does have a marker at Yahoola Church Cemetery. Cicero and one of his sons, Ethon , died about two weeks apart and their graves have not been found but both are believed to be at Yahoola Church Cemetery. I am still researching the location of their graves. Thanks Tom Stargel

MessageW.J.T. was my great grandfather. My grandfather was William Andrew and my daddy was Marion, the youngest son of W.A. I grew up in Auraria or "Nuckollsville" as we affectionately referred to it. Anybody out there know the parents of Curtis and Verlina?

MessageHi-
I'm working on a book about the First Georgia Volunteer Infantry -Ramsey's- of which the Dahlonega Volunteers was a part - it was Company H. I had an ancestor who served in the Volunteers. Thanks for linking to my website. If you have any members who also have info on the Dahlonega Volunteers I would love to hear from them.

MessageJust thought I would say how cool everything on here is as a member of the NGCSU Blue Ridge Rifles. The herritage is the most important thing to us so seeing all this information in one spot (espescially after visiting all of there graves) is excellant. Blue and Gray all the way (BAGATW)!!!!!
