MessageBlessings to all of you who are walking the journey of cancer with your canines. My 8 year old Riley was just diagnosed with Lymphoma 2 days ago. For the last 2 years he has been battling a disease called Bartonella. He has gone through so much & yet he still wags his tail. In the last few days, his eye sight has become a problem. Tomorrow, we go to the oncologist for his first visit. May God help us help our babies!

I want this nightmare to go away!! Please just pray for him as I will pray for all these loving companions!!

Type of Cancersoft tissue sarcoma of right rear leg
MessagePlease pray for Gabriel, a dog who has truly lived up to his name his entire life. He is the sweetest, most kind and gentle little soul you could imagine. He has been battling this cancer since last August and, particularly since March he has suffered a great deal. But he remains so bright and loving of spirit and so wants to live. The last 3 weeks he had been doing so well, his doctors were thrilled and optimistic. But just 2 days ago they told me the cancer had come back in his leg with a vengeance. I have had Gabriel since he was 8 weeks old and we have always been so close. I love him so much, and he has clearly shown even his vets that he does not want to leave me. I lost my mother just a few months ago and Gabriel has helped me bear the almost unbearable. It's unthinkable to lose him, too. Thank you for praying for Gabriel.

MessagePlease pray for Duffy....we are "stupid" in love with our little handsome boy. He is 12+ years old and this past Saturday he had a seizure. We went immediately to the vet, we walked through the door and he seized again. Blood work was taken to try to determine the cause. Results will be in on Tuesday so we wait. He told us to take him home and try to keep him calm. To keep track of any additional seizures. He seized twice on Sunday, and has already seized once today. Our vet has warned us that the likely cause is a brain tumor given his age. Our hearts are breaking we are beside ourselves....thank you for your prayers....

MessageYesterday, May 29, 2011 I found out that my Boxer has MCTand it appears to be attached to his liver. I was given three options, the first ultra sound to see if it has spread, the second surgery right away but if it has spread he would not return from surgery and the last put him down. I decided on the first so if it has spread maybe I can make him comfortable and try another approach. I love Tye dearly and will do whatever is necessary to save him. I have prayed and asked for mercy. I Love My "Tye Tye". My heart is broken.

Type of CancerLung (waiting for actual diagnosis)
MessageTwo days ago, I took my precious girl to the vet b/c she just wasn't herself and she seemed to have a wheeze and a cough. She has never been sick the entire 9 yrs of her life. She's always full of energy and will fetch a ball for as many hours as you can throw one. The vet and I were thinking possible pneumonia. It's been a shock to see plural effusion and a large mass in the lower right lobe of her lung. Our vet aspirated 9 fine needle samples. He then asperated the fluid under her lung. The good news is Lacey may be more comfortable with less fluid. The really scary and heartbreaking news is it's a primary tumor and the was considerable blood aspirated in the plural fluid. Lacey is my constant companion. Her sole (soul) job has been to make sure I'm alright. This is such a shock. I've always believed in the power of collective prayer. Right now, I'm praying for a miracle.

Type of CancerLymphoma
MessagePlease pray for my dearest Chloe. She has been with me for 7 and 1/2 years and was diagnosed in January of this year with lymphoma. She is such a sweetheart and my best friend. She has been a trooper throughout her chemotherapy, and had a setback this week. She came out of remission and had lymphoma in her lungs. They drained fluid off of the lungs, gave her more chemo and now I pray and watch over her night and day. God bless these sweet creatures that God gave to all of us to share our lives while here on earth.
