BreedCocker Golden Mix
StateSouth Carolina
Type of CancerNot sure yet; he has internal tumors & weight loss
MessageChester is a blond-haired Cocker mix who looks like a HUGE cocker. He is the kindest, happiest, sweetest dog I have ever met. Sometimes, I wish so badly he could talk because I know we would just chat for hours. He is so much more than our pet, he is a integral part of our family. He loves to shake his whole body, and he makes noises that sound like he's trying to talk. He has the sweetest spirit, and our entire family was devastated to learn today that he has internal tumors and has lost 17 pounds since his check up last year. We don't know what kind of cancer yet, but the vet told us to take him home and make him happy.

I believe in miracles; I don't think they happen often, but I do think they can happen. I know if you are reading this, you are probably going through a similar situation, so I don't need to tell you how difficult this is. If you wouldn't mind saying a prayer for Chester, I would greatly appreciate it. If one of those miracles could come his way, it would make me one of the happiest people in the world.

My prayers go out to all of you in similar situations, and thank you for your prayers, as well. Let's not put limits on what God can do.

MessageOh Lord

who made the stars and the skies

all the worlds, in all times spent

and times to come,

hear my prayer.

Let thy spirit rise strongly

and enter into this being

that is yours

to raise it up

to lift it up

to bless it and to heal it

to awaken its spirit

so that it may live in your glory

so that it may live well

if this is your will

as all things are.

Oh Lord,

there is great love for this being here

it brings joy and love into our hearts

we ask that you restore this being

in body, mind and spirit,

in love and everlasting glory,

Amen

Type of CancerOsteosarcoma; Lung; Prostate; Anal sac
MessagePlease pray for our dear Jackson. He's 12 years old and just had his hind leg amputated. We start chemo on Thursday, June 9th. He has always been athletic & is now struggling with arthritis in his one "good" hind leg. He tells us when he needs his pain medication. He is so smart. Absent a miracle, he will diein the near future. We don't know how we will get along without his smiling face in the mornings. We only want to prolong his life if he has a good quality of life. Please pray that he can get through chemo with minimal problems and that the treatment will grant him quality time with his people. We are not ready to say goodbye, but we won't be selfish and permit him to be in pain. Thank you.
