MessageMost faithful companion! Intelligent .... it's almost frightening. So much joy he brings and stands ready to protect his loved ones from "evil-doers" (HE-HE). He is right there -tail wagging- when I come home at night and stays by my side because that's where he wants to be. I love him so and pray his remaining days are filled with happiness, as he has so freely given to us for six years. I pray he does not suffer in these days ahead. God bless.

MessagePlease pray that we can make him as comfortable as possible before he dies. The vet said he has probably 2 weeks or 1 month. He had surgery on his jaw Dec 23 and the vet said it is spreading fast. He is loosing wt fast but seems to be pretty alert! We are giving him pain medication. We just want to give him the best during his last days! Please pray for my husband & I that we would be wise about his care. He has a sister, Daisey and she seems confused now! We will miss him so much. He is 13 yrs old & he has been such a wonderful dog! Just pray for strenght thru this. Thank you so much!

Bailey went to the vets today to have an x-ray and maybe have her toe taken off. The x-ray was done to see if the cancer spread to her lungs b/c she had been dry heaving. I'm also concerned about the stage the Melanoma may be in. I hope it is not stage 3 or a 4. If the Melanoma is a 3 or a 4 then Bailey may have 2 to 3 months to live. I hope the Melanoma is in stage 3 because then she can have her toe off so the cancer won't come back and live out her full life.
