Since he is 12 yrs old, we made the difficult decision not to put him through chemo. He is on prednisone and I pray for him to maintian a good quality of life for as long as possible.

MessageCara, our 11.5 year old Golden Retriever was diagnosed this Wednesday with Hemangiosarcoma. The vet has given her no more than a week to live. She has meant so much to all of us and to have her suffer with this is heartbreaking. Her name means 'Dear One" and it fits her perfectly. Knowing that we cannot do anything to help our beautiful girl is so horrible. She has brought us nothing but love, joy, laughter and happiness and taught us so much along the way. We need to let her go to escape from this ugly disease. That decision is has been so hard to make. I knew a day like this would come and it is harder than I imagined. She will be in our hearts always.

Messagemy pug whom i rescued from the pound has a mast cell tumor she will be going in for surgery on tuesday when i first got her i didint think she would be a good dog i was sooo wrong shes funny cute and haappy and knows how to chear you up if it wasint for her i would not have made it through my grand faters death last year. we give her nicknames like rooter or bill or shieky baby she has lots of names. i cant loose her now shes my girl shes like my child i love her dearly please pray for her.

MessageToday Sage had needle biopsies of her throat area. She has developed a rapid growth on her neck that the vet thinks it might be Thyroid cancer. Sage is our little sweetheart and truly the best friend we have. Please keep Sage and people-parents in your thoughts and prayers. Right now she is home with us...we are so frightened about all of this and heartbroken this is happening.

MessageOn May 23, 2011 our vet discovered swelling of Casey's lymph nodes in his neck during a visit petaining to an infected anal gland. After 2 weeks of antibiotic treatment, there was no change in the lymph nodes to impress him a whole lot. We were told about lymphoma and have since done extensive research. We have chosen a high protein diet with 500 mg of fish oil for him and daily prayer. He is 11. So far he is still acting normal as of June 30, 2011. So we have prepared for the worst, but hope for the best and still have faith that he does not have this illness; and if he does, he will be healed. We ask all to lift our dear, beloved Casey up in prayer. Please pray for us for strength as well. We, too, lift all of the ill ones up in prayer and their moms & dads for courage & strength. It is a difficult journey. We also pray for those of you who have lost a loved one. May you find comfort & peace in all the love, pleasant memories & times you shared.

MessageLuna was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma 8 weeks ago she went into remission 7 weeks ago and just came out of remission and now has skin lymphoma. She has 20% chance of going back into remission and even if goes back into remission has a maximum of 3 and 1/2 weeks of staying in remmission. Please pray that God will put his healing hand on Luna and put her in remission from all cancers and keep her in remission for a long time at least a couple of years instead of a couple of weeks. Luna is only 6 years old.
