MessageLAST AUGUST 07, WE FOUND OUT OUR PRECIOUS LAB WAS DIAGNOISED WITH HEMANGIOSARCOMA AND WE WERE TOLD WITH OR WITHOUT SURGERY WE WOULD ONLY HAVE MAYBE 3-6 MONTHS IF WE WERE LUCKY....AFTER RESEARCHING THIS AWFUL DISEASE ON YOUR SITE AND GETTING HINTS ON DIFF RECIPES TO FEED KATIE, WE FEED HER HAMBURGER,GREEN BEANS,CARROTS AND COTTAGE CHEESE DAILY INSTEAD OF DOG FOOD WHICH I LEARNED THIS TUMOR CAN GROW ON CARBS! NOW ALMOST A YEAR LATER KATIE IS DOING AWESOME, EVERYBODY THAT KNOWS HER SAYS SHE LOOKS LIKE A PUPPY AGAIN, AND SHE IS HAPPY AND SEEMS TO BE IN NO PAIN WHICH IS OUR GREATEST CONCERN,SO IF I COULD SAY A PRAYER FOR MY KATIE THAT SHE CONTINUES TO BE PART OF OUR FAMILY ANOTHER DAY , MONTH , EVERYDAY IS A BLESSING TO HAVE HER IN OUR HOME AND SLEEPING ON OUR COUCH :)

MessageTommy is a rescue. In his life(8),he was found on the streets,spent 5 days in ICU after we rescued him and almost died.Then he was treated for mange for almost a year.He became blind from a genetic disease at the age of 3, and has now developed cutaneous lymphoma. He is being treated with chemo and holistic remedies.So far, to no avail. He is a wonderful,gentle soul and never offers a complaint-- unlike many humans.He maintains his joy and dignity. Please pray for him, he is a special angel.

MessageDesi is a sweet and loving 8 1/2 year old mix. She has been through 2 mamary surgeries and presently has her third tumor. The radiologist feels it may have spread to her lungs and they think its a matter of weeks or months for her life expectancy. She means the world to us and we are taking every optimistic step to keep her around for as long as we can. Please keep her in your prayers!

MessagePlease pray for our Hondo. Our beloved Airedale (8) was just diagnosed with prostrate/bladder cancer. He is our laughter each day. As a caregiver for both parents over the last 4 years, Hondo has managed to always make me smile. My father passed on July 3. I came home from his burial only to find out that my best companion (dog) has cancer. The prognosis is not good. He has endured radiation and chemo. Tomorrow, July 25 I will find out if we can at least enjoy a few last days together. Please say a prayer for him. He is precious to us.

MessageI have had the honor of being Dixie's mama for the past 3 years, but she has been my boyfriend's baby since he got her 11 years ago. She holds all of his memories in her heart. MessageXena is 11 years 2 months old and just survived her 5th operation. She is a beautiful tuxedo black and white with white paws and a little black with white tip tail. She had 11 tumors removed less than 20 hours ago and sleeps by my side as I type. I will pray for all of your dogs as prayers of ours have been answered. Never give up hope! Our Xena is a miracle!
