| Message | Txplumber, on the Fox blog, I had suggested that you apply for SSI as a way to offset some of your medical costs. It can be a tedious process, but ultimately worthy in the end. I have good insurance through a Medicare advantage plan and receive a pretty good sum of money each month. I used to be a nurse and had actually worked, paying into the system since I was 14. I do not look physically unhealthy, but I have several medical problems and am unable to work because of them and the types of medications that I take. Also, I do not sit around and do absolutely nothing; I am as physically active as I can be. My husband actually insists that I "sit down somewhere or you're gonna pass out." I hope things go well for you. I am reticient about sharing my email address, but I am on the myfoxhouston.com blog. |
