MessageHello Everyone,
I have left a few messages, but they get cut off or mixed up...I sure wish we had the old guestbook back...

Kris, I am still hearing wedding bells and said that if Jim sang at my wedding then you could certainly be the flower girl! Bettyg may fight you for the job though.

It is nice to see new postings from folks and to see so much interaction between people loving Jim's music.

Jim, I do hope you are feeling well. As the Thanksgiving season approaches know that you are loved by so many. Whenever I speak of you to people they always mention how kind you are and how they have such great respect for you. Your blessings are numerous.

Love and Peace

MessageThis information is for Karl: Jim's single recording of The Impossible Dream is on a 45 record, and those are no longer available except in vintage record stores or possibly on E-Bay. The song is included on several of his CDs, including,"Jim Nabors, More Songs of Inspiration",
Jim Nabors, double disc set"Love Me With All of Your Heart/By Request", "Jim Nabors, 16 Most Requested Songs",and "The Best of Jim Nabors", the most recent CD by that title. Hope this helps you find what you want.

MessageJust for everybody's info: Jim sang "500 Miles Away From Home" during the episode entitled FLOWER POWER which aired in the fifth season of Gomer Pyle, USMC. Jim actually never recorded this music separately; it is just on that one Gomer Pyle episode. Don't forget that the Gomer Pyle USMC DVDs are available on Amazon.com and the fifth and final season will be available this month. The other four seasons are already available.

MessageJim Nabors will always be a crowd pleaser. His personality and ability to sing are attributes not seen in fellow entertainers. He deserves a big thank you for all he has accomplished over the years.

I have not been to the sight before and found it quite interesting and enjoyable. It is seldom that a show can be off the air for so many years, and yet have so many fans and friends who spend the time to chat on the guest book.

I appreciate the heads up on where to find some of the cd's and music I have been looking for over the past few months. Betty, a big thank you for holding this community together. You appear to be a very warm and loving woman who wants to help all.

And finally, November 10, 2008 marks the 233rd birthday of the United States Marine Corps. God bless all the men and women in uniform both past and present and may this day be special for them.

MessageI have been looking for a song Mr. Nabors sang on Gomer Pyle that had the lyrics "I'm 500 miles away from home." I have looked every where for the last several years and can't find it. Can Betty or her web crew help me?
