Your show amused us for many seasons, and is one of the things I remember from my childhood. Just watched the "Impossible Dream" clip from your show on You Tube: a fantastic rendition. | Message | i just watched a youtube clip of Gomer Pyle USMC and i felt the need to share this with you. My childhood was very grim and for the most part I have blocked out alot of that negative evil. But for some reason, today, Jim Nabors popped into my head, so i did a search and found your website. Jim, back in those very dark days, you made me laugh....I became so engrossed in your show that the sadness around me just disappeared for that half hour. thank you for that. AND THEN, I heard you sing!!! Good Lord, I was mesmerized! thank you, know that you were a positive force in a very negative life. If ever you are in NYC, i would love to come and see your show!! | Message | Just yesterday I was chatting with a friend (who suffers from MS and is bed ridden - we both love Jim) and Jim's name popped up and today I find out Jim is ill. I grew up with Jim Nabors, Gomer Pyle, and his fabulous voice. Get well Jim. We want to hear your wonderful rich silky voice again and see your smiling face. ;-)) |

| Message | Pete and I are in Lancaster. It is hot!!! Every time we pass the American Music Theater I think of Jim and hope he is getting better. We are enjoying the sights of the Amish country here in Lancaster. We will head back to Indy on Monday. Will look forward to seeing everyone next year at Jim's concert.
