It has been miserably hot here in the Midwest, so I hope that the wonderful trade winds of your beloved Hawaii are keeping things cooler and more comfortable for you. A friend of yours (and mine), Dave Calabro, will be sending you a note soon. I was in touch with him recently. As always, he did his usual good job with track announcing for the Brickyard race last weekend. | Message | Our baby boy, Albert Lloyd Louis was born emergency C section on July 20,2010, due to his unresponsive heart. we are still waiting to get results back and pray everyday that God's hands are upon him. He has an early diagnosis of Trisomy 18, but we don't know the extent of that yet and are waiting on the full report. He is currently at the Children's Hospital in NICU. You can read about his journey at. we having a caring bridge site set up for him. Missed the concert, hope we can make it to the next one. |

| Message | Hi Mr. Nabors, I'm from Birmingham, AL. I'm 47 years old. My family and I watched it when I was young, and like so many others, I still enjoy it. The show is so funny and such a family show. Times, or should I say, some people have changed so, that there arent' that many shows worth watching now. Thank goodness for all the reruns of your show! What would we do without the Andy Griffith Show and I love Lucy? My mom had one or your albums and I couldn't believe when I heard "Sunrise Sunset"-wonderful! |

| Message | Greetings one and all. It was most gratifying to read so many messages to Jim following the need for him to cancel his concert on the 25th. These messages I am sure will delight Jim and it was nice to see one from Jim Meeghan also from Australia and a fan of Jim's like me although I have been a fan since he first hit our screens on television and before with his records golly that is 60 years now - a lifetime!!He is a much loved gentleman gracious and kind to all he meets and his God given voice and manner has delighted us for so many years and he is recovering now from laryngitis feeling better every day. It was, knowing him as well as I do that he would have been so disappointed to have to cancel his concert as much as those many who would have been there. Walter and Betty it was as usual nice to read your note and glad that you are both well. Lisa do let us know about the gift you and Will are expecting I pray that all is still well with you please let us know as you are in our prayers. | Message | Hello Jim. Better late in life than never. Thanks for all the good tv memories you gave me as a kid. I remember when Andy Griffith took you to the marines, and made sure you got off to a good start. I could really relate when I went off to college for the first time. I remember most being blown away when I heard you sing for the first time as Gomer. I just wanted to let you know how much you influenced people while they were growing up. I know I am not the only one. I wish that I knew how to post a message to Andy Griffith as well, but I have had no luck finding a way to. If you see him, please tell him The Andy Griffith show has been my favorite my entire life. I watch it on DVD, and reruns, and the kids watch it with me. I thank him so much for having the show and having all the perfect cast that you were a part of. I miss the late Don Knotts too. He was one of a kind like you. Take Care Always. |

I was such a funny show and uplifting, something you could sit down and enjoy after the day of stress was over. I miss having such great actors as yourself to watch nowdays. | Message | Dear Mr Nabors, I don't know why I felt led to search your name this afternoon, but I was when I saw that you were ill I decided that's why I'm suppose to pray for your health. I will do so and I pray you have complete recovery. I would love to have the honor of see you some day in person do you ever come near the Nashville, TN area? I live in KY, but I'm only two hours from Nashville,TN, two hours from Louisville, KY, and three hours from Lexington, KY.
