| Message | I have always loved Jim Nabors singing. Ove the Christmas Holiday I was telling my daughter about the Christmas Album he had put out and how much I love the way he sings some of those songs. Then i told her that his beautiful singing voice is so different from the southern twang to his speaking voice, escpeially the way he'd say, a'golly!" i still love it. I think I m going to look for some of his collections to find the Christmas one, by next Christmas. They always take me back to my childhood and simpler time. love you Jim and will always be a fan. |

| Message | Mr. Nabors, I hope you know you are a National Treasure. I grew up watching and listening to you with my parents and grandparents. I lost my father to colon cancer a couple of years ago, and since then find myself rediscovering my childhood and those things that bring a smile to my face. You are definitely an icon from my past that fits the bill. I cannot think of anyone who doesn't, when I mention your name, remember you quite fondly. Either they loved Gomer Pyle, or remember that beautiful voice of yours. Either way, I wish you many more happy, active years. | Message | Happy New Year Mr. Jim: My friends and I are sitting here watching Gomer Pyle USMC and Mayberry. We watched the show where Andy made Barney Sheriff while he was out of town. Barney arrested everyone, even you and Aunt Bee and Opie! Do you remember this? Andy came back to town and saw everyone in Jail. Andy released everyone and Barney stormed off and in the squad care and made a U turn in the middle of the street. You went hollering Citizens Arrest. If I can't do it then you can't.
