MessageHello,

I have enjoyed Mr. Nabors singing for many years. I have tape entitled " Christmas with Jim Nabors" that is getting a little thin. Is this ever going to come out on CD? Also, there is song that Mr. Nabors sings entitled "In a Humble Place" that I would like to get the sheet music to. Could you direct me to a source that I could purchase the music. I would very much like to have it for our Christmas Eve service. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

MessageIt has occurred to me that many people do not know.. who have recently joined this wonderful site.. that I have been contributing for MANY YEARS. I am so pleased to see so many new entries and welcome everyone who sends in contributions. MANY OF THE ONES THAT USED TO BE ON HAVE FALLEN BY THE WAYSIDE AND THIS IS i FEEL A PITY AS FRIENDSHIPS CAN DEVELOP BETWEEN ONE ANOTHER.Without contributions this site would not be as wonderful as it is with people voicing greetings to Jim, who surely deserves all that we can send to him.

There is an alternative website, a private one which Susan B has opened as a big tribute from her to Jim as she is also a very devoted fan. This is mainly for those of us who have experienced from Jim's life something which has been greatly beneficial to us. comforts us when needed and becomes almost like a personal testimony and should be viewed in this way rather than the nice casual approach of this his official website. where we can discuss many aspects, and help one another in so many ways. Keep up the good work and keep this wonderful website going for many years but remember something very personal can be entered on the other one as a further, not negating this one, place to praise and thank Jim on a personal basis. Isend God's wonderful blessings to you all. I am always here to help if needed! So I might add is the other Susan as well with the other website of Susan B Betty

MessageAloha, Jim and everyone!

It's getting close to the trip now, so I pack, repack, change my mind, and woman like, this goes on and on! :)

SO looking forward to seeing our son at Camp Pendleton, then in flying over to Hawaii to see Jim and that wonderful show!

My own website is in the midst of many changes. I promised that it would be truly worthy of Jim, and while I liked the initial way it appeared, it lacked some things that I wanted. So a new webmaster is working on it and we'll have big news soon. A reminder again to everyone -- my website is a very personal thing, though everyone is welcome to add stories and thoughts, and is meant in NO WAY to be in competition with this site, which Jim has provided for us all to share things and to see news of him. I am so grateful for that, and to Ron, for doing such a magnificent job in reviewing and keeping up with the guestbook. Love to all, Susan

MessageTo Ray: Jim would have to correct me if I am wrong about this, but, as I recall, what he actually said was, that he had a difficult time watching the show in later years, because he knew that many of the guys who marched in the opening sequence had actually died in the war. Jim, however, is an honorary Marine (a corporal), and has a very close relationship with the military (especially the Marines). Those of us who have sons or daughters in the Armed Forces are very proud of his work on behalf of the various branches of the service.

By the way, to those of you who have emailed and asked about the music section of my website -- the answer is it will be coming up really soon. I have a new webmaster, and things will begin to happen more quickly now.

Hugs and love to all! Hawaii is coming up soon. Can't wait!

MessageThe song "Galveston" that Jim sings was originally on the album by the same name and since has been included in a compilation of Jim's songs on the CD "The Country Side of Jim Nabors." The CD is presently available at Amazon.com
