MessageJust a quick note I am a baby boomer. Your show was an excellent and clean comedy. How I wish today that America had the moral fabric that we had back in the 1960's. God has blessed you with A tremendous voice. God Bless.

MessageYou are so right, Mollie Claire. Jim's songs (all I've heard) have been like a bridge over troubled water for me for many years.

Hoping that everyone is taking care and that you'll not get the "bugs" that are certainly making the rounds these days. Gosh, it's been a long time since I've had such a rotten sore throat. Even all the old tricks aren't working as well as they should. Sooner or later, however, this too shall pass.

In the meantime, love to all, and wishes that everyone--from our singer right down to the newest member of this delightful guest book--stays well and strong. Susan

MessageMollie Claire you are right about the suggestion you made but my dear any of the wonderful inspiration hymns that Jim has recorded particlarly in the double c.d. of When He Spoke. The old Rugged Cross reminds us not to dispair because of the price was paid for us on the cross to cleanse sins from us.Then depression seems to be diminished. Love Lifted me is another favourite of Jims and as well as the Impossible Dream and How Great Thou Art these are memorable to listen too and sang from the heart But then we could go on and on and find hope in so many of the wonderful gospel hymns Jim has recorded.

I asked permission from Jim and was kindly given by him... to record some to be played when my funeral comes around as inspiration to others during their lifetimes ahead. Betty

MessagehI sUSAN THANK YOU FOR YOUR NOTES AND YES WHEN i WAS THERE AT THE DAY OF CEBRATION OF REMEMBERANCE IN 2006 WE ALSO WERE GIVEN A FLOWER TO CAST ON THE WATER AND THERE WERE A LOT OF FLORAL TRIBUTES THERE WHICH I DID PHOTOGRAPH.

Jim did travel extensively with Bob Hope and this was well documented at the time and embnraced many countries that they visited entertaining the troups
and I know I saw it repeated somewhere recently on our t.v. over here (pay t..v. that is_) I do not have this but my daughter does and I saw it there.
How nice too to get a note from the new Commander about our Jim singing the anthem and we all hope this too will continue for years to come.

It is now a month until I leave for HaWAII AND AM SO LOOKING FORWARD NOT ONLY TO THE CONCERTS BUT ALSO THE OPPORTUNITY OF RENEWING FRIENDSHIPS WITH MANY PEOPLE OVER THERE AND REALLY HOPE THAT YOU AND i CAN MEET UP WITH ONE ANOTHER.it is a 15hour journey for me which includes long wait at the airport for security reasons so I know I will be glad to get there!Even if I still have to cope with customs and luggage collection which in itself is a nightmare and the only thing bad about going to Hawaii!

Blessing and prayers are sent to all those travelling to Hawaii at this time and God be with you as with Jim at all times. We are all truly blessed to enjoy the God given talent Jim has shared with so many of us. God bless you Jim and all your devoted fans.

MessageAs I recall, Jim did travel with Bob Hope to entertain the troops, quite a few years ago. I'm not sure where the pictures were from that I saw, but it was overseas and there was quite a troop of entertainers traveling with Bob Hope. I can only emagine how thrilled our service men felt to be entertained by those folks "from home." I have a picture of Jim in an orange stripped sweater standing on the stage with Bob Hope!
