MessageBetty, I tried to send you a note two days ago but it took me three hrs. for it to go through, I do not know if it did or not. I am working with the Alabama Tourism Department out of Montgomery Alabama on our project. They think I'm some kind of genious or something. Amazing huh! Maybe it was just the way I was raised. After all we both got to stand on Broadway. They are sending some info and I will pass on to you. They even offered a job to me. I just retired.

Gold Bless to you all Sandy

MessageHi Betty, It is nice to hear from you.
Please go to google search engine: Put in
alabama tourism. If you will go there then you will get your info. on how to get to the comer museum. It may not be appropriate to direct e-mail. You will see why. I want to be a supporter of the museum because I love the arts and I appreciated the beauty that art and creativity brings into the world. I also appreciate Jim Nabors talents. He has brought so much joy to my family as an entertainer. I was inspired by his displays. That was quite amazing. However, I realize we are all equal human beings with different talents. I just that true fans would want to honor him through kindness.
I have had trouble getting my messages through for some reason.
Peace and Grace to all Sandy

MessageHi Sandy Glad you enjoyed as much as I did the trip to Sylacauga Have you by any chance got an up to date email address for the musum as the one I have gets returned. There would be plenty of scope for a gathering in the park and the restuarant Jaxs (hamburger) is right opposite for the hungry!! if you all go ahead with plans to be there.

This lady would not be able to use her wings to fly that far unless there was a concert in the package! It took me 30 hours from when I left my home to when I arrived in Birmingham and that alone was a bit daunting, and I guess another 4 or so to get there.

When we were there in answer to your query I think Loreli and I both had a grilled chicken salad. The Proprietor of the cafe (which they are refurbishing extensively) is an Eye Doctor and it was her parents we met that we had lunch with. They are some of the directors of the museum. This will be when finished a large place and another interesting venue no doubt would this meeting go ahead. It was just on the right as one entered the town.Hope that something can be heard for you all as to whether this trip would be possible. Regards Betty

MessageTHIS IS TO ALL JIM NABORS FANS!

This past weekend I attended the LSU/AUBURN football game at Alburn Alabama. We stayed two nights in Sylacauga. We got to go into the museum and I must say it was very nice. The Native Sons room had a big display of Jim's accomplishments. It really was something nice to see. I have an idea. The museum is accepting memberships to the Isabel Comer museum.
How about joining in honor of Jim and what a great birthday present, christmas present, and anything else inbetween that would be for him.
Any artists out there? How about an art showing in Jims honor. I am. Only true and loyal respond: comer museum at goggle and you will find all the info. Then on his birthday those loyal members can show up at the museum for his birthday as The Jim Nabors Fan Day. I bet the tourism folks will show.

This is what I plan to do. Will you join me. Spread it around your areas. The world can come to Syl.
