I wasn't sure what to do at first as I've never attempted quilting before but thought a traditional Aussie pattern would be the way to go. Hope you like the recipes I included as well, now those are very much good old Australian recipes. Love you Jim!!! |

| Message | Mr. Fields - Jim's rendition of Galveston was on a LP by that same name, and I believe one other with a title that had the word country in it. I am not sure if they are still available through Amazon.com or not, but many of his LP's have been turned into CD's, and they are available. You can also put in a request for something specific on Amazon and also on ebay. I hope this helps you. Sending good wishes toward you finding your song. | Message | Jims Fans, Sandy, You have completed such a wonderful project. Sandy would get my vote for president of Jims fan club. Since Jim has had a liver transplant, and I am a great fan of his, I go to the Red Cross and donate blood on a regular basis. I also have signed to become an organ donor. When my granddaughter passed away, she was at my request an organ donor. I now work at the Red Cross and there is always such a great need for blood, think of Jim and become a donor. | Message | Hi All: Terry and I started at 8:00 o'clock this morning e-mailing Photos to all of those who placed a block on the fan quilt. I do need a few more e-mails. Cindy From Seattle, BettyG new address, and marge and walters. With exception of these I just mentioned, if you were on the quilt and you have not received them by now please let me know. When we started this project, we all agreed that this was our way of opening our hearts up to Jim and sharing whatever we wanted to share to him. We wanted to keep it quiet(Out of the NEWSMEDIA)so this would be a special gift to him. We did just that and I would say our mission was accomplished. Everyone he was thrilled to death! Now where do we go from here? Perhaps one suggestion would be to look around in our communties and step in where there is a need. Do this in honor of Jim. To all those fans who didnot make the quilt but would love to have photos of the quilts we will share with you. Jim you are deserving of all good things that come your way and I am a better person for doing this project. We love you so much. God Bless, Sandy |
