MessageMr. Nabors,

While sitting with my wife watching old "Gomer Pyle" shows, we were talking about all the years of great entertainment you have brought so many. I know you may never read this but from the bottoms of our hearts, Thank You! The days of wholesome family shows seem to be gone. We sure could use a few these days.

Again, thank you for the many wonderful years you have brought to us.

God Bless,

Michael B. & Teresa M. Lett

MessageA very grateful Aloha to all! This was the day we all watched and waited (and evacuated) for the tsunami that blessedly did not strike. Several of you emailed me directly and sent good wishes, and I know ALL of us were thinking of Jim and were concerned for his well-being.
While I waited for the tsunami, I tried to keep busy, and I ordered my ticket via phone for the Lancaster show. When the young woman I spoke with realized where I was she was so shook up having just heard about the tsunami possibility. She, too, sent Jim her very best wishes.
And I send my best wishes and thoughts to all of you!! Susan

MessageGreetings from Alabama! I don't why You came to mind. I have been thinking about you for the past several days. We've never been formally introduced. I just wanted to wish you and your family, health, happiness and many years. I miss those the good old days! I miss you and all of the other people who came into our lives on the TV and made us laugh and sometimes cry. I miss the real music--our kind of music. There is one thing that has not changed here. ROLL TIDE ROLL.
I'm glad I looked your website up on the computer.
God Bless You and Yours!

MessageJim: I'm sitting on my parents' porch overlooking Sylacauga. Did some searches on my computer and hit your website. I really enjoyed your interview with WTBC in Tuscaloosa.

You have been a great ambassador to our hometown, to the State of Alabama, and to the University. Some day I want to come back to Hana. I've never seen the house completed. My last day there was when the first beam was placed for the roof, August 1979. Thirty years gets away fast.

Mary Alice and I have talked of coming out in December....our 30th Anniversary. It would also be a great motivator to prepare to run my second Marathon in Honolulu.

Love to hear from you.

David Cochran

MessageP.S. My Grandpa is a proud World War II Marine Corps Vet. It would really mean a lot if we could find Jim's music. Thank You. Robin Walicki, Pentwater, Michigan

MessageMy Grandmother passed away in 2009. My Grandpa is planning a memorial service for May 2010. He would really like to play 5 of Jim's songs, but we can not find them on CD or iTunes. Can anyone tell me where to find the his songs online or can Jim come to the memorial? Sincerely, Robin Walicki
