MessageDear Mr. Nabors,
I met you years ago at EPCOT, I was singing in Italian in an outside performance group and we saw you walking by...I asked if you'd sing (lovely voice you have) and you said no, but you stayed and listened and were lovely company.
Thank you so much for your years of work, God bless and keep you healthy...
Best, Anne C. Smith

MessageNote from Susan B says it all:

Ron,

I just had an email this afternoon from the family of Vicki Howard, who requested that I remove Vic's name from my contact list, since she has passed away quite unexpectedly. I thought you'd like to know this, and may want to put something on the website about it. I will miss Vicki's fun and positive personality.

Best regards,

Susan

MessageThis note is for Sherry in regard to Jim's recording of "Dulcinea" which is part of the "Man of LaMancha" record he recorded many, many years ago. This record (including the song Dulcinea) was never put on cassette or cd, so your chance of finding the record would probably be on eBay. You might also check used record stores. They often have LPs by Jim.

MessageHi Mr. Nabors,

Seems that I have watched you all my life. I remember that I saw you in Houston Texas when they had a rodeo there at the Astrodome, back in I'm guessing '69 or '70. You came out and everyone lit their lighters as you were singing. I have never forgot that. The rodeo also featured Buck Owens and Roy Clark. I don't know if you remember that or not, but I was there and I do.

Hope you have a great rest of your life. You are a great memory...God Bless You , A Lifelong Fan, Tina Rackard

MessageWhat a day it was today at Ft. DeRussy here in Honolulu! I went to the performance of the Battle Color Detachment of the USMC, and sat directly behind Jim. We were in a tented area to watch the performance. Being seated, as he was, on the front row, no one cheered more enthusiastically than did Jim! I had thought he might be going to sing The National Anthem, but he was there to "review the troops" along with (Ret.) Lt. General Hank Stackpole (who is a good friend of Jim's). Such a thrilling event. I truly wish all of you could have been there.

Now, Jim's getting in voice, I'm sure, to be "back home again in Indiana" come Indy 500 race day on May 30th. To be back there again myself this year, instead of residing there as in the past, it's going to be an emotional time. I am hoping my son, Joe, a US Marine himself, will be able to be with me. It just depends on his recovery at that time from his accident. He is doing well (and thank you all for your prayers and emails of concern that you've sent me).

Wishing each of you a "peaceful Hawaii day/night" and many blessings. Susan
