| Message | Will and I are doing well. very busy preparing for the new addition to our family which should arrive in July. We are getting ready to celebrate our 5th anniversary in Kauai, wish we could make it to some of the other islands but will be there for a short time. Hope everyone is well. Cannnot wait for the baby to start watching Gomer Pyle and listening to Jim's music. |

| Message | I know I haven't kept up with the countdown like I should. School keeps me very busy. There are 70 days left until the Indy 500 and there are 126 days until the concert in Lancaster. Susan B. - it is getting warmer here in Indy so maybe it won't be quite so bad when you get here. Pete and I are leaving on Friday for Pensacola to visit our daughter and enjoy the warmer weather. It is spring break time! :) Glad to read the comments that everyone puts on the guestbook. Jim - you know how much all your fans admire you and your many talents. We are very much looking forward to seeing you at the Indy 500 and again in Lancaster. We think you are the greatest! Chris L |

| Message | Aloha everyone, and thanks to Betty for adding such wonderful thoughts about Vicki Howard. I will miss her greatly, and the support she gave me due to her experience with sons in the military. A military mom is a special breed, and we all stick together like glue. To that end, I have to tell you that my son has new challenges with regard to his recovery, and I am going to be in California again soon, then having to return to Indianapolis due to financial constraints and other issues. Not sure when (or truly if) I will be able to return to Hawaii for more than a visit. Life can toss us some curve balls at times. But it's not what happens to us, but how we handle it that matters most. Love and hugs to all, especially you, Jim! Susan |

| Message | growing up around sylacauga then going into the military and someone finding out that your from where gomer is from is pretty rough but it's cool i am the adjutant at the american legion post in sylacauga(post 45) and jim's uncle kirby was our oldest member who just passed away back in the summer and yea gomer is more than welcomed at the post anytime |

| Message | Hi Ron IT WAS WITH A GREAT DEAL OF SADNESS I READ YOUR MESSAGE ABOUT VICKI HOWARD WHO HAS BEEN A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE FOR OVER TEN YEARS EVEN THOUGH WE LIVED SO FAR APART.SHE HAD I AM IN NO DOUBT MADE MANY FRIENDS THROUGH THE GUESTBOOK ALTHOUGH PERSONAL PROBLEMS STOPPED HER CONTRIBUTING TO THIS PAGE, I INTRODUCED HER SO SUSAN THROUGH HER WEBSITE LAST OCTOBER AND THEY NO DOUBT HAD THINGS IN COMMON AS VICKI LIVED THROUGH HAVING HER TWO SONS ON ACTIVE SERVICE IN THE WAR TORN AREAS AROUND IRAQ ETC. | Message | Tonight I was listening to a record by Jim Nabors and once again I was reminded how much I appreciated his singing voice and style. Wish I could have heard him in concert when he was performing in Honolulu, but alas, it was not to be. When I was a one-month pastor in Hana, Hawaii, I invited Mr. Nabors to sing at a worship service, but his schedule did not allow him to consider it seriously. He was returning from his Honolulu performances at the wee hours of Sunday morning, so he graciously declined. Our loss. I didn't know of his health issues and wish him all the best with a healthy transplant. As an actor, singer and human being, he has been a wonderful role model and person. All the best. |

| Message | As Gomer Pyle, Jim told how he had been set up on a date that did not go well. When asked by his buddies if he complimented the girl, Gomer replied, "Yep. I said for a fat girl she sure didn't sweat much." I've used that line over and over in teaching my students to be careful in how they say something. Thank you, Jim. |
