| Message | Mr. Nabors- You have always been a favorite singer of mine and when my family moved to Talladega County I could not believe I had moved to an area that you had grown up. I watched all your shows but your singing has never been matched, as far as I am concerned. You probably could not imagine how strange my friends thought I was as they had rock and rollers posters on their walls and I had a signed autographed picture of you on mine. | Message | Greetings from a Sylacauga High cheerleader--sister of Dottie, Chuck and Donald Dawson. You are one of our favorite memories of 1941-1946. I remember your sister, Freddie, the Augusta GA TV show, your visits to our home in Aiken, SC and all of the other musical memories from Sylacauga. If you have a cheerleader picture from the 1945-46 yearbook, I'm in there, elected by the student body with the help of a teacher who thought Dottie was an excellent cheerleader and that it ran in the family. | Message | Just saw the news about another Lancaster concert. We would love to make it but can't make plans in July until the baby comes. My hopes are to be in PA the end of July if the baby comes the first part. hope there will still be seats left. |
