Stoops and am currently building a family tree in hopes to complete comprehensively for my late father's remaining/living sisters. | Message | Nancy: We need to correspond more.I have information regarding the earliest Verkerks that is a little different from yours. You may have solved one of my problems. By the way, Jo Ann and I wrote a book on the Indiana Van Kirks several years ago. It ties in the Funkhouser line. We met Charlie Van Kirk and his mother, who was nearly 100 years old at the time, and were taken to the gaveyard in Napoleon Indiana where William Madison Van Kirk is buried. I also have the revolutionary war record of Jemison (Jamison, Jemson) Van Kirk. Best to You, Dennis |

| Message | My mother is a direct decendant of Philip Jones. Her father was Hubert Jones from Liberty Indiana. I have been hunting for information on Philip Jones ( 1st ) father. I cannot find anything about Charles Jones at all. The only sites on Ancestry that have any information about Philip or his father are set as private. I have emailed them but have not heard back.
