MessageHaving tried to find information about my fathers cousin Ron it's nice to see that at long last the information is there. Sadly my father died in 1986 not knowing what had happened to Ron & others couldn't give me the answer. I found out that he was buried in Durndach near Stuttgart but that was all I could find many thanks for this information

MessageI would like to congratulate my brother Michael for this tremendous tribute to our father Lawrence, and the other members of his brave crew. Michael has devoted countless hours to this task and the result is a great compliment to the brave young men, almost 60 000 of whom died while on active service with Bomber Command. It is to Britain's shame that no medal was issued to the fliers of Bomber Command and no statue to their honour and memory has been erected.

MessageLaurence Casey was my grandfather(my dads, dad). I never met him, but I am very proud of where I came from. I love reading about him and love the pictures too. Looking at Laurence on the main picture is like looking at my dad, its remarkable. The crew were all extremely brave and my regards are sent to any living relatives, these men will be remembered forever.

MessageI am Laurence's widow. We got engaged in 1945, we were going together before he was shot down in March 1944. I heard that he was missing in action from The pulpit of St. Mary's RC Cathedral in Edinburgh. I was called up into WRENS shortly after he had been shot down. In June 1944 I had a strange dream. I dreampt that Lawrence was standing at the bottom of my bunk bed wearing his RAF uniform. Later that same day I received a letter from my mother In Edinburgh enclosing a POW postcard from Lawrence. That was when I first heard that he had survived. He was a brave and good man.
