MessageI just finished reading your blog from the very beginning to the very end. I feel like I know you even though we've never met. I only wish good things for you in the months, years to come because you deserve it. I admired the way you handled yourself when you were down in the valley and hope you are experiencing being on the top of the mountain from now on because you have a testimony to share that will be so uplifting to those going through what you experienced. God bless you now and always. You have proven that even in the valley God is good, he carries his children through just like he said he would, just like he carried you. In our church choir this Sunday we are singing, "If He carries the weight of the world upon His shoulders, than I know my brother and I know my sister, that He....is going to carry you". I'll be thinking of you when we sing this song on Sunday morning.

MessageHi, Deena!

You were one of the first primitive crafters I bought from, I still owe you a picture of the most wonderful bunny you made. I treasure her. I was so very sorry to learn about your battle with cancer, we are the same age-still so young-we are. Prays are with and for you. You are a fine example to all of us, with your courage and words of wisdom. Your website and blog is so very inspiring. Thank you. Please be well. Sending lots and lots of hugs.

MessageWe just got back from staying with grandsons north of Chicago. One was in Michigan most of the week & we went to pick him up. It was fun to see where he had been & what he did. His favorite activity was rifle range! He's 10! So we got to see him in action!
His 13 yr. old brother went to a day camp near home but got sick the middle of the week. We had a peaceful time with him probably because his brother wasn't home! : )
Doug got to play golf 3 times, one of which was with a grandson, which was special.
I got to visit with a high school friend & we ate lunch out & talked & talked, etc.
Now I'm back in Church responsibilities. We're updating the Church Parlor & I'm Chair. It's a big job but I have a great Committee. We hope to have it finished by the Church's 175th anniversary Oct. 3
We pray you are recovering easily from this big procedure. God's plan for you is to inspire others to love nature, beauty & Him. Thanks for reminding me of all this. God does love you & so do I, JoAnne

MessageDeena,

What a beautiful website! I'm so sorry that you are fighting cancer. It's what you share with others that makes people that are well really appreciate each healthy minute of their lives. Realizing that things can change at any time really inspires me to live without taking my health, children and each day for granted. You will be in my prayers. May God Bless You!

MessageHi Deena,
I found you through Sally Smith. I am the lucky recipient of the "Fruit of the Spirit"book-we did a personal swap. My joy page for her was Psalms 126:5 This is my prayer for you today! That your tears will be turned into deep joy! I also participated in the Girls Gone Thread Wild-Pink Project and I have to say that I so admire your transparency and courage in what the Lord has layed before you. I have not had cancer but I know some who have suffered and won and some who have lost. Keep fighting brave warrior-all my love and prayers! Heather
