MessageOh Deena - Here I am spending my time today complaining about my sinus headache and then I read your blog and what you are dealing with and realize my throbbing head is nothing compared to what you are going through and shame on me. Maybe you are part of God's plan to make other people realize just how good life can be despite all of its hardships and through your words, you make us realize just what is truly important. That is a gift. On the other hand, I wish I could share a cup of coffee or tea and maybe bring a smile or a hearty laugh into your life. I've been known to do that on occasion and laughter is the best medicine. So many tough days and so many hurdles you have overcome and I know that you will have the strength to get through all of this. Next time, I will share with you my "trainwreck" of a story about the older man that I stalked in high school. Sometimes God does have a sense of humor!

Message"The strongest oak of the forest is not the one that is protected from the storm and hidden from the sun. It's the one that stands in the open where it is compelled to struggle for its existence against the winds and rains and the scorching sun." (Napoleon Hill)

Continue to stand strong ~ you are in my prayers.

MessageDear Deena,

Oh, don't ever wonder if you have made a difference. You have given such a sweet testimony of Jesus - the love of Jesus shines through your writings and your photos. No one could miss it. I am so glad we have met, dear friend. I wish we were physically closer but we are only a prayer away from each other. I am thinking of you and praying for you throughout the day and night. You are such a blessing to others and I will not forget the courage you have displayed, the faith and trust in God and the testimony of God's grace and goodness, that you give thanks for, so often.

May God bless you and your family, holding you all in his loving care.
With love,
Dee

MessageDeena,

I also was given the diagnosis of stage IV endometrial cancer in May of 2007 and am still undergoing chemotherapy. I am 47 years of age with two children age 17 and 14. It is very hard to battle this monster but we do with God and good friends who care. I also thought I would be done by now but that is not the case. It is hard not knowing what is going to happen. I read your blog everyday. Thank you. You help me in so many ways. Your are in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Shelli

MessageI happened across your blog whilst researching lymphodema. I have been struggling with the pain and swelling for several months. It was a joy and blessing to view your site. I love PINK so I had to see who was so pretty in PINK. You are beautiful.

I became a PINK lover at the age of six never knowing it would be my color for life, as I am now a breast cancer survivor.

What a lovely color to spread around the world.
