| Message | My father's parents were both of Transylvania Saxon descent. I remember going to the Saxon Country Club in Salem, OH and also to Cleveland for dances and picnics with my grandparents. My grandfather, Fred Theiss was very active with the ATS and was the Grand President for several years. I was devastated when he died of a heart attack at the age of 63. I have many wonderful memories of the time I spent at ATS functions when I was growing up. We lived a few hours away from the nearest Sachenheim, so I didn't get to continue being active with a branch when I got older. My husband and I live in Florida now.Good luck with the Errand! |
