MessageYou have a great site. I think people have to have an open mind for things to come to them. My mom's family was American Indian, my uncle was medicine man. I was taught to believe in spirits good and bad.

MessageHello Taylor/Tylor,
To your question it depends on the groups with in your state. In my group they must be over 21 years of age and pass a background check.

MessageI'm from Mishawaka, IN but I've been watching from Ft. Gratiot, MI as I live here now with my son and his family, he is recently divorced.
I know of a place in Mishawaka, called the Hacienda Restaurant on LWW in Mishawaka, IN 46544 where it is said to be haunted and deaths occurred in the old/restaurant house.
My daughter and I were in the upper area dining alone, no one there, near the attic where one death supposedly occurred and my daughter saw a black blurr fly past her vision across the isle left to right, I didn't see it. However I did experience a quite strange feeling in the female Bathroom upstairs in same area..it was like someone was in there with me, very strange feeling. It has been reported to be haunted for years by many even people working there have seen aparitions, is there a chance you might check with them to do an investigation. It would be nice to know if any of it is true? Thank you, Jeanne Sones, Ft. Gratiot, MI 48059 (any questions, my # is 810-385-2879).

MessageHello That Chelle,
Firstly i never have stated i nor our group was a "NON Profit" We are a not for profit different meanings need say.

Yes we were a part of TAPS and no we had no take on anything that they were doing such as "Grants" all we got out of being with them is simply "advertisement and a Few Cases".

And speaking of 2 comment looks like i may have gotten under your skin as well due to the double post. lol

Our team members have their basic equipment such as their video cameras and Digital Voice Recorders, we furnish the rest, out of our pockets meaning "my wife and i" and we work hard for.

We pay all of our(home)bills and whats left goes into NAGH, if we do not have the money then nothing goes towards NAGH.

You are more than welcome to join us and you will see how we actually run
before passing judgement or making such claims about how we are financed lol it is all financed by my wife and i and the team furnishes only their expenses for lodging and meals and their own piece of equipment.

TAPS is also a Not For Profit but the the money they make is from Roto Rooter which i must say is a "Shitty Job" and from their books and so fourth.

But their funding is none of my concern nor has it ever been my concern.

But thank you for some of the nice comments.

But please before you pass judgement on someone, do research on the group before passing judgement.

Thanks
Jim

MessageMust have "tweeked" you for you to have written two comments.

I'm not going to argue your points. But I would like to discuss them.

Your comment about expecting members to work "out of their own pockets" are fine for those of you that can afford such expenses. So I guess the only way to be a member is to be in a higher income bracket. You say your a "non profit" group but if you've been affiliated with TAPS or other such organizations. We all pretty much know there is grant money and other donations comeing in from some where. Of course "administration costs" takes up the bulk of that I'm sure just as in our illustrious government and other professional business organizations.

We're all so proud of you for doing every one this service and reaping the honors as well as the benifets.

Keep up the good work. You'll get what you deserve if you keep playing with things you don't understand or know enough about.
