MessageHello,

i've toured your website and am very impressed by the school, but found nothing about the school fees in terms of how much? I'm considering applying for Kindergarten next year.

MessageHello, I'm Salma Abdelhaleem's mum (KG2). I'd like to ask if there's any possibility you would accept Salma's cousin into your school next year. The thing is the girl's currently in Grade 1 at an american school (El Hayah)and her parents would love to transfer her to GVS after all they've heard about the school's great system. I'd also like to ask if there's any possibility she can be transferred this second semester. Waiting for your reply. Thanks alot, Marwa.

Messagemy daughter is attending KG1 RED,

today, i believe parents of Nasr city had experienced a totally unaccepted situation, they had to stay on the street waiting for the school bus as much as they could

(because the school rules doesn't allow the driver to miss call the parents before he arrive by 5 minutes)

what upsets me, is that the school care about rules and don't care about parents time,

i believe this rule is applicable if the school could find a way to solve its problems, like the problem that happened today, but otherwise, the school had to accept another communication ways between parents and bus driver

finally today the bus didn't show up, some parents who had the driver no., asked him when he will come, and HE WAS ON VACATION!!!!!!

i am a bit surprised, i thought what the school can do in a situation like this
1-Arrange another driver
2-Call parents before they get down to save their time, as some of them have a job to go or any other commitments
3-call the parents after that to explain what

but nothing of what i expected or unexpected had happened

How can we teach our kids to stick to their commitment while their school it self is not doing so

I'm saying that just for a feed back, i must admit that I'm really happy of the school performance with my daughter, but what happened today forced me to make a stop, and take a positive action

MessageInterview Details: You'll find all info you need about the interview on the Admissions page under About our school. Also, by downloading the Application form you may get more useful info about the interview.

Languages are excellent at GVS. Our kids will never be offered such strong first (Arabic)and third (German) language as here in GVS. The School is really not like 'The Other National Schools'. GVS is different and unique on the academic, social & service level. I heard about the recent fees increase, which I think financially, goes well with the changing inflation rate we're all facing. But, from a 'mother's point of view' I see it the other way round. My son is getting the same or even better education than in International Schools (for social & character educational reasons, not to mention z perfect command of 3 languages) for almost half the fees. I think this confusion is partially due to ranking GVS under National Schools. But if you see the fact that it's not one of the usual national schools, you would understand why the fees also aren't. Anyways, do not worry about any sudden increase in fees. This does not happen. The school is very honest & trustworthy in terms of money & fees.

MessageI loved the comment, which Mrs. Nehal has written on Monday, 3.2.2008
It's really wonderful to know that parents are appreciating the efforts done by the school and to see them satisfied!
And would love to add that the efforts done this year and the years before are starting to flourish now!
Behind this success lies great hard work, and extraordinary efforts are exerted by each and every one of the GVS Staff.
But, I think, there is much more to be admired about the School, rather than, 'the class teachers selection'.
So, I'd love to add to Mrs. Nehal's great thank you msg, and take the opportunity to thank each person working on developing and improving the GVS performance!
So… to everyone (teachers, parents & students) who's working on improving and supporting the School's unique approach and philosophy, THANK YOU… YOUR EFFORTS ARE DEEPLY APPRECIATED!
